a friend needed to check if his hardware works. i unplugged mine, tested his hardware and then replugged mine. computer started smooth but it wont let me open any programs that are on my hardware (steam for example)
message error says that the path couldnt be found

Is your drive in your or his pc?
if yours you may need to re-assign the same drive letters.
If his, ofc it won't see it, da fuqs wrong with u.

It’s in mine of course lul
Do i have to do it for each file/program or can I do all at once ?

If it's just that the drive LETTERS have changed....then use Disk Management to set the drive letters back to what they were.
