You compared Japanese 4 cylinders. Now all of a sudden you're trying to compare different ones. Give it up dude. I proved my point. From a performance standpoint the eco in Cavaliers and cobalts have proven to produce more power. Show me one honda anywhere near that power.

NA k20 can lay down 270

Not my fault hes saying a engine that hasn't produced more than 2000hp is better than a engine for performance that has produced 4000hp.

they use those eco tech motors in dirt midgets in a spec series, they go pretty good and can take a decent amount of abuse

im well aware of what the ecotec is capable of doing and the flogging those motors can take.

Exactly. I had a 2.2 ecotec and that thing was bullet proof. I just don't really know what all I can mod other then throwing a turbo on it and making it run 9s

the stock internals will give up long before you make enough power to hit 9's in the 1/4. on the bright side you should be able to get the internals to handle it for about 1k with gaskets bearings and all.
