So I recently bought a late 2018 BMW 1 Series and a thing I wanted to know is if it's easy to change rims & paint the break calipers by yourself.
Where would be a good idea to turn to buy the desired rims you want for the car itself etc..?

Sorry if this is vague, let me know if I need to put down more details (I'm kinda new to this) :D

first off they are called wheels not rims we are not in the ghetto.
second off they are brake calipers, and considering you cant even get that right i would find someone who knows what they are doing before you mess it up.

considering i doubt you even know your bolt pattern , offset of the wheels and minimum wheel size to clear all brake and suspension parts. i would find some one who actually knows what they are doing. but hey go for it ive bought wheels for very cheap from people who just do it and find out none of it fits right.

Painting the calipers can be a DIY job. I recommend Duplicolor caliper paint.

I personally find it ugly when people paint their calipers but eh whatever.

Why not throw on some fake brembo covers instead? about the same price and less of a headache

so much shade lmao

for calipers get some high temp paint, probably an oil based laquer or a specifically made caliper paint as suggested above
