Hey guys,

I just came back on d2 after a long time, I'm currently in hell and started countess running.

I'm pretty amazed by how low the runes dropped are compared to me memories.

Right now with around 150 runs I found up to fal and most runes don't go beyong amn.

Is it normal?

I'm playing in 1.14b atm, fire/orb sorc so the merc gets the last hit.

I would not farm countess for runes, especially as a sorc. Go lower kurast instead and u can find bases/uniques/charms/ber etc.

150 runs is not alot, but farming countess in hell really sucks imo. I only do it if I really have to like a barb or something.

Just RNG I think. As Dorislol says, unless you’ve a burning need to make a runeword before moving on, might be best to save your time/efforts for LK.

Ofc i'm running p1 for countess runs.

I'll give LK runs a try, I've never done this before however. Is there any important tips to keep in mind?

Good layout with all the chests, look for 2 campfires.

This map is pretty much perfect if u have tele. Do the circle and back to the WP>a1>s&y repeat. I also had perfect mephisto map with this LK map so I did LK and meph each run, very efficient.

Is it Worth it to open all chests or just the 3 super chests per campfire?

True. I think I typed it cuz I don't always kill mephisto when I get to LK. I did LK>meph>red portal on that char.
