Only the city hires civil engineers. I was going to do civil engineering by I found out through networking that civil engineering isn't what sites and videos promote it to be. I end up studying Business Marketing. My friend ignored me got his CE degree anyway and regrets about not hearing me out. He hates his job because they make him direct traffic on the streets, since he has no hands-on experience. It's like a kiss-ass career with little room for advancement, since the city got sued for for bs cop shooting lawsuits. They cut everyone's yearly salary by 25-50%. He has to do the job to pay off his loans.

Try STEM education programs because you have the an engineering degree. It should be fun if you can work with kids.

You can probably have a lot of past classes credited if you ever want to switch to another engineering program. It’s not too late!
