Has anyone tried a find item barb with like 600-1,000 magic find? Just following public bnet games and popping bodies in chaos/Baal runs?

Curious if this works at all

Struggling to think why it wouldn’t work unless mf works differently on find item

People do that, especially at early ladder. But like 400 mf should be more than enough.

More magic find isn't always better.. I've always heard 200-300 range is usually the luckiest spot..

I tried it on classic seasons ago and I couldn't keep up with the runners fast enough or always had some one steal the seal boss bodies as corpse explosion or something

If you are looking for uniques and don't have to kill monsters yourself then the more mf the better

it is pretty good tactic. Done this few times early ladder with gf/mf babas. Just join the casual faggot bot runs and pop corpses up. More mf = better but get as much mf that you will still survive with gear

sure, but bots are just going to pickit your loot

the only reason for that, as I've read, is that increasing MF% beyond 300 usually takes away from your kill speed.
