Hi, im kinda new to PvP and im not sure if in NL there would be too much difference in wealth to duel without getting owned all the time or if it would be more even because of the more stable economy and cheapier prices on general stuff. My goal is to just build one decent char and duel legit but not pro level, plus I wouldnt have enough fg to build anything gg. Would love any orientation in this matter, cheers!

Id say stick to ladder if you wanna have more fun . too much pride on NL

just make a cheap non ladder dueler >

It's normally cheaper to build on nl and your pool of decent opponents is bigger

The last few years have seen a spike in prices on nl but sooner or later it'll settle down

i see, would a javazon be not that expensive? i already got pvm gear, suppose i need a decent inventory and some kb gloves. wouldnt go for jmod of course.. or maybe a javazon has to be pretty good to give a fight?

If you want to just have fun, make your fav char on ladder

Playing field is friendlier and more level on ladder, imo.

It's easier to make coin and prices are more reasonable by the hour.

I started from scratch last season around this time. Theres a free shako dropped in every game named act1 start.

ladder if you're new to pvp and need exposure, ladder since there's far more frequent duels and it's a good way to build your d2 self eslteem

NL if:
1) you're looking to duel the same 3-5 ppl
2) you're more experienced
3) you're more patient
4) you like to go anonymous and troll, given #2 is met and you would like to fulfil #1 at the same time
