Aries is probably that girl Seira, happens to transfer in just like him and she has a brain related condition with that photographic memory like a side effect of the injury she sustained from the fall/coma (also the names are just backwards )
he was clearly looking for her and specifically choose to be in that group to follow her most likely. (plus he seems different around her too)

they happen to find another ship just like theirs, plus a new girl joins the crew it seems. (maybe she's actually the enemy and was placed there before hand.)
at least with this they can likely repair the ship from the other one most likely.

that piece of info at the end.
that's one good potential plot point in why things have gone this way.
i'd assume even ina futuristic earth setting that's still a taboo that's illegal and her just being around could pose a threat to those involved.

also seems Polina is holding back an rather important piece of information about why she was out in space with her crew.
she comes off a lot more normal so maybe she's not some kind of sleeper agent but maybe even a victim herself depending on what info she's holding back

now what about earth?

i have a sneaking suspicion that the next planet before they reach home might very well be earth, but perhaps it's not in such a pretty state anymore.
looks like ASTRA is surrounded by some sort of technology too. (maybe it's a plot point)

Polina's crew goal seemed like perhaps it was something related to finding suitable planet for colonization, maybe because Earth was in trouble and that's why she was looking forward to seeing it and getting home. (almost like she expected it not to be there anymore)
Maybe Astra was such a planet that people migrated too, which maybe resulted in conflict/war and the eventual erasure of Earth in a historical and livable planet sense?
though Polina was only in hibernation for like 12 years right? hard to believe earth was forgotten that fast, so maybe it's like some kind of alternate dimension sci-fi plot for her or maybe she's much older then what was thought to be (after all the date that was given for comparison was ASTRA's and not Earths)

things definitely getting more weird now.
i don't think they're all clones but it's clear now that a large chunk of them are.

also just a weird point to point out.
Zack did mention that by using parts from Polina's ship he fixed that telescope thing but what about that radio that started this whole potential murderer onboard idea?
though i guess it would make sense that it was broken too, after all Polina and crew was stranded on that planet too.
