This guy was pretty easy once I got him separated. Fighting these guys made me realize that I can't go to Hell without getting my merc a Shaftstop.



Between Life Tap and Decrept (and LoH and CB on the merc) this fight wasn't too hard.

I still need a Shaftstop for my merc before I feel comfortable trying hell.

Trying to determine what my end game gear looks like. I assume it's something like this:

Shako / Gaze
Duress / CoH / Fort
Dungos / SoE
Gores
Dracs
Highlords (for DS) / Maras
Raven
Crafted Blood Ring / Good Rare Ring / Wisp Projector
Godly Rare Claw (like Fools + Grinding + 200+ ED) / Chaos claw + Bartuc off hand

I was re-reading the Basin wiki entry for CoS, and I real hamstrung myself by going no shadow:



I had forgotten about that piece of information. Even if the shadow lasted long enough to cast CoS again, it would be worth it at times.

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep farming Meph, or push on to try to get to Mausoleum. I have a good NM Meph map.

Maybe should have kept this as a pre buff claw, but with double Bartuc's it doesn't give me that much more even if I found another one.
