They said for the first "bit". It could be 3 weeks, it could be 3 months. We dont really know. But after that they aren't "adding more servers" to my knowledge, they're just removing the layering since at that point the quest areas should be pretty well cleared out. Most of the important areas after the first month will be instanced anyway.

Has there been a post about this? I was told differently but haven't seen anything one way or another personally. It would help to decide which one to play on.

ive just followed classic really closely, i dont have a link but there was a video where someone from blizzard did confirm that the server list will not have duplicate names of existing servers. to prevent confusion across bfa/classic. they also said they wont be launching any rp-pvp servers with the games launch- which has caused alot of angry RPers to flip out on reddit.

I think they are going to give us server names around the time they let us preregister character names, so maybe we can have a server then.
