apparently he was the last pick on vancouver's top 10 list, if he was picked before 10 they were gonna trade down cuz they believed they coulda got the players they wanted with lower pick anyway (im guessing newhook)

Ive seen people saying Holland wanted Seider, so Stevie swooped in at 6 and took him first, idk if theres any truth to that since Broberg to edmonton was reportedly pretty well set in stone assuming he was there for them.
But maybe thats why Stevie didnt trade down, if he had and the rumors are true, holland wouldve taken him instead of broberg.

apparently the teams are turned off by his lazy nature, poor compete level on ice. Which is a big turn off to many teams to use their 1st pick on. Probably more willing to risk using their 2nd picks on him since there's no question he has elite hockey sense and to find that much success in juniors without trying his 110% lol
