WoW is pretty much gold farming. If you raid, you need gold to buy potions. Otherwise you spend a lot of time to farm materials to craft your own. WoW is a farming game for the most part.

Every MMO is a farming simulator.

If everyone boycotted these pay as you go games maybe it can go back to the good old days wherr you would pay 1 flat fee and thats it. Some of these games people spend hundreds if not thousands on. Like imagine that cash was out towards irl things how much better off ppl would be.

Not gonna happen. These games are heavily marketed towards kids/teens and kids arent spending their own money or they have far less financial responsibilities and they arent going to take any mass stand. Like most things people do a lot of complaining and then continue to do what they are complaining about anyway.

These companies are also heavily banking on addiction both gaming and gambling and it works

Yup I like to call them casino's with fancy graphics. They give away free stuff every 5-15 min so u keep checking back and the longer u spend ingame the more likely you'll buy something.
