On ladder reset me and my uncle were going to try it out. Any tips and advice on what chars to use. Mfing and what not. We were thinking we were going to want some tanky builds but wanna be able to mf

If you play smart, any class is viable. Just make sure you have max resists, and in hell you will want to try and stack resistances as well (incase of conv aura mobs)

Hit 255 all ress (hell -100, convi 11 - 80 , anya + 30), go for 1 frame lower fcr break points and get some damage reduction(+25), assasin is immortal with fade and cloak of shadows, hammerdin is broken as usual.

When playing with a partner it is very beneficial to include one support class (barb, pally, druid) and one damage class (trapassin, javazon, sorceress), depending on what your goals are.

If you want to progress through the game as quickly as possible, I would recommend a barb + sorc. If you want to progress as safely as possible, I would recommend a pally + trappasin.

If I was teaming up with one other player for reset I would personally choose a sorc + hammerdin. Reasons being:

-Pally provides defensive auras and magic damage, sorc provides teleport and elemental damage.
-Sorc can easily farm runes from nm countess to equip both with the best mid level runewords - spirit, insight, smoke, lore.
-Sorc can mf act bosses while pally mfs chaos and other open areas.

If you choose sorc - do not tele to baal NM and do not tele at Hell until you get one of those things: BO, or 75% block.
Reason: risk to get one-shotted during tele.

i would not recommend playing without a bo barb.

start sorc > get level 80 > respec chant > level bo barb > level new sorc to be a chanter > own the game.

i would not recommend letting your uncle play with you
