It really is, he couldn't even get into Spurs team last season and when he did play, he was dreadful

That being said he had an amazing World Cup last year, but he needs to play as a wing back rather than full back to perform.

His technical ability is very high which will suit playing in La Liga. What lets him down is his physicality.

Couple funny notes there, main one is Rio still top 10, crazy given the rise in player transfer fees, although offset with pound to euro shift last couple decades almost. Was still worth every penny as I am sure De Ligt will be
