I enjoyed Child 44.

Also a fan of other stuff like The Martian and GOT.

Can't seem to find anything worth reading. I'm fine with long books with large character arcs.

The Last Kingdom series is really good. Viking shit. Much better than the show they made of it.


Also Ibis trilogy about the opium wars is good if you want truly accurate historical fiction you can learn from that is also amazingly well written and compelling.

Will add Ibis to my read list. Think I'll get the Last Kingdom on Kindle tonight. Thanks for the suggestion!
