I want to look into setting up a server that you login to and is basically like another computer in there. Has office suite, can install other software, can have other people access it, can transfer files in and out of etc. Don't mind paying a company to set it up but I am just unsure what to search to find this

What you're looking for is probably a VPS (virtual private server)

You will just need to find a provider that has servers in Sydney

Thats probably why I couldn't find any I was looking for ftp

OVH is quite a reputable provider, but I'm not sure if they offer a Sydney server. Always compare pricing tho, some places overcharge for their servers
