Bench, yes. No doubt about that, Sixers bench isn't very strong although Boban and Mike Scott are legit.


Kawhi + Siakham + regular season Lowry + Gasoft vs Embiid and Simmons

I give the Raptors a slight edge. Kawhi is the best player in the potential (AKA coming soon) series, followed by Embiid. Then Simmons or Lowry assuming neither of them chokes, and then Siakham.

btw I'm impressed by Boban lately.

e: lol I forgot Butler. Jimmy Buckets has game. I love his game. I'd personally take him over Lowry sometimes.

+1: I agree on taking Siakham over Harris. Harris can be good though. I think he's having a great season.

I think simmons + harris + Reddick are overrated. They are all decent players but raps + bucks + hou have better starting 5s.

Your starting 5 has barely played together and has no chemistry rofl

Lowry = Simmons
Green > Reddick
Siakim > Harris
Kawhi > Butler
Gasol < Embiid

Ibaka, VanVleet, Powwell > Sixers Trash bench. The only position you have an advantage at is starting center. Also youre right if simmons plays he will potentially average over 10 turnovers per game vs Kawhi.. hes already at 8.

Also, worth noting the Sixers are the first team in NBA history to have all 5 starters average 17+ PPG. And this is counting their scoring numbers once they were playing together too (not inflated numbers from before they were traded).


Like I said, on paper there's no reason this starting lineup can't wreck the East. It'll all come down to Embiid's health really. Toronto certainly has a much deeper team, but Philly has the better starting 5 with a lot more firepower there.
