i currently have the arab merc from act 2 on my hdin.
his wep is ebotd war pike, eth forti armor and guillaume helmet 40 ed 15 max jewel inside.
so in total 4096 - 18568 dmg (with my conc aura), 60% ias and 15% deadly strike.

but i think hes kinda weak and more dmg is possible...
someone in game told me to rather use the act 5 merc
because they can hold death runeword which gives a lot % deadly strike.
i guess that needs to be a death sword then (ecolossus sword or ecolossus blade btw?)
because afaik, they cannot hold axes such as decapitator / glorious axe.
so what do you think is the best merc kind and what would be the items?

edit: im hammer vs all so pls dont write things like "it depends"

What you have is good, you could try for a rare eth pike with mad ed and ctc amp socketed with Lo *2. Or you could use a a5 merc with headstriker : https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=78342329&f=87

this. headstrikerer act5 merc is not only heavyhitter but its also swag af.

Ask Ninten for secret act 3 merc build.

PvP mercs are concerned with the most possible damage from a single hit rather than dps

act2 merc has no swag and cant be named Bill

Your act 5 merc won't have swag either when it's dead

Arab merc best. Much betta than those bloody infidels
