What PVM character has similar killspeed if not better to an HDIN, yet still has the survivability. I don't really want to make another sorceress, but I still want to be able to have the killspeed, mobility, tankiness and everything else similar to a hammerdin.....any ideas?

sorc would be #2 choice after hammer

#3 is java (but has slow fcr)
#4 trapsa (less dmg than previous chars)

you'd prob like a Java. tanky, powerful on groups or single target, etc.

Since hammerdins can do ubers with 1 pt smite, the other realistic options with both AoE damage and being uber-viable are:

kick/trap sin (trap focused) with static ctc weapon and gear swap for ubers (res stacking, lt source). Good cleaning speed if well played. Multiple weapons to use depending on situation, from rift to azure to beast to stormlash/Cmoon...

javazon with swap for ubers (res stack and cb/ows/lt setup to jab vs mephi). Most damaging char with lighting fury for packs and best boss killer with charged strike, easy to use. Lacks teleport speed, thats the most important con.

Both require a tanky infy merc for both pvm and ubers.

Wind druid imo i find its almost the same as a hammer but more fun to play

Gl killing p8 bosses with wind druid with any speed.

Eh, magic will always do more dmg than physical

Any pvm char that can't uber is crap
