I just aquired my 3rd, and biggest tank, 68 gallon beast!

It needs work, i need to glue the black piece (trim) back on the bottom and paint the glass black,

what kind of paint is good for aquariums? not the inside ofcourse lol

Is there a reason your painting glass black instead of just buying a pure black background?

I’m unsure as to what paint is fine, maybe a marine grade paint they would use on boats would be appropriate? And I agree, the paint will look better than the cheap plastic backgrounds

E; I found that I guess plastidip holds up well, and won’t scratch off as easy as paint would.

i used acrylic from walmart, was 20 bucks for 2 bottles, i just did my 3rd coat ill throw up a pic

I need to do it to a few tanks.

I just use krylon spray paint, never come off any of my five tanks.

If it's the outside, I don't think it matters much what you use.

If it's salt I always use spray paint otherwise the salt creep gets under backgrounds

its saltwater, just a 10 gallon i picked up for free, took 3 coats but looks good
