Not sure if this is the right spot to post but I'll try.

So a few weeks ago I ruined my old card (long story), so I ordered an msi gtx 1050ti. I just put it in my computer last night and when I turn my computer on I get a few beeps during start up and my computer sticks on the start up screen.

My old card was a radeon 6770, it had a 6 prong hook up that this one does not have (I guess that's the power supply?). This one apparently does not need that. I seated it on the motherboard and the fans turn on when I run my computer

Can give more specs on my computer if needed, will pay in fg for successful help.

Did you make sure it's installed on the top pci x16 slot of your motherboard?
Also, make sure your monitor is still plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard?

I believe so, there is only 1 spot to put it on my motherboard, it clicks into it just fine.

Yes my monitor is plugged into the card

Download speccy and post a screenshot of it, and it possible upload a picture of your PC with the side panel off so we can see the components.
And when you say the start up screen, do you mean the MOBO manufacturer screen or the windows screen?

Speccy is easier to see everything.
/e I guess if you can't get pc to boot that's not really possible. If you have a CPU-z screenshot share it.
Sorry, I just finished 12 hour shift at work, getting ready for bed lol.

Do you have a link to the EXACT 1050 Ti grfx card you bought?

The MSI GTX 1050ti is compatible with 2.0 pcie slots, so that shouldn't be an issue. Apparently a lot of people have GPU compatibility issues with this motherboard "PEGATRON CORPORATION 2AB5". The cord that connects to the GPU is the power supply, yes. I would recommend going into the bios and making sure the computer is properly identifying your GPU. If it isn't then there may be a compatibility issue. You should also see that it is running in x16 mode for 2.0 as that's the expansion slot specification for your mobo. A GPU with GDDR5 memory I think might be too much for your mobo.
Also, is this thing a laptop?

A 1050ti shouldn't need additional power, its powered directly from the pci slot.
