Leader and accountability is the main thing. Kyrie Irving is a top talent but he cannot lead. It was a shame how early he checked out on the Boston Celtics.
Their numbers over the last few years are pretty identical with only eFG% going in Kyrie's favor. It's a pretty good gap in that category, but I would argue it would be the same if Kyrie played in Charlotte and not next to Lebron and a nice Celtics cast.
Durability is also something to consider. How long will Irving's flat feet hold up? He is so injury prone and it's pretty clear he isn't going to play basketball too long due to his health and personal issues.

Probably not, but if Jimmy is hell-bent on leaving at all cost, the Sixers have to think about everything i guess. Rockets would just have to find a way to dump them on a different team to create cap space. Sixers lose him without any assets in return. Assuming players in return are better than nothing.

If the story gets big i assume the Rockets know he would like to leave. Otherwise a sign & trade makes no sense, if Butler doesn't want to leave. Maybe its just Butler agent creating leverage in contract talks, just making sure he gets the 190/5 offer. Maybe the Sixers aren't offering the 5th year yet.
