Isn't this a bit of a pointless bonus (too low)?

So... Rank 10 = 10% ee / Rank 20 = 20% ee... just means a lot of work that is all.

Oh it adds up a lot but you cant be lazy to gain your bonus

On my previous character I had rank 22 axe prof. I promise you that 22ee added to your weapon is a noticeable increase

It's not extremely significant just as glyphs are not very significant but everything adds up and it gives you something to work towards. Proficiency makes this game much better!

Glyphs can be pretty significant... last night I had back to back crit glyphs from emblems (3 crit and 6 crit) lasting over an hour each. Throw in a dex glyph and it’s like wearing another sick piece of gear

For those with 40 prof, that’s almost another piece of gear as well.
