Lol I think you’re really underestimating who Jones is. I wouldn’t even bet on a prime (EPO) Cain vs Jones, if he fought the Cain that showed up in his past few fights he’d make him look like an amateur.

Really the only ones that would have a shot would be the guys like overeem or ngannou who could catch him and actually put him out but I’d take Jones in both of those fights. Cormier fight at hw isn’t as interesting as some are trying to make it. Yes Cormier would come in heavier, but you’re assuming Jones wouldn’t? Jones would come in looking like he came off the overeem diet.

He def needs to bump up tho. Nothing left for him at lhw

I have no faith Jones will do well at heavyweight. He’s already turned himself into Uberjones on one of his previous “vacations” and his lower half just doesn’t fill out.

His wrestling is what let’s him be so versatile and dangerous, at HW I don’t think he’s got the strength advantage, and the reach won’t be such an issue.

Could totally be wrong, but I think there’s a reason he’s on steroids and still fighting Anthony Smith’s and Thiago Santos.

the only reason HW is a threat is the same reason HW is a threat for anybody... a one-punch KO is bound to happen in that division because everybody is massive. almost every single HW has been KO'd stiff in their career
