np, I truly think this is an original glitch, i did a fair bit of looking around to see if anyone else noticed this over the years, so far nothing.

It's single player, so i'm sure there was just no1 caring about it.
I vaguely remember doing this, but just shrugging it off as useless.
If you're going to exploit single player, there's plenty of more powerful things you can do. But it's still just Single Player...

Most recently (on battle net) you could find matching coordinates in different acts
Find the object ID of a portal or stairs, and send the interaction packet to travel.
For some reason the game did not care what act the object was in, as long as your coordinates matched & you had the object id.
Even though you can't access the WP menus, You can still use them once you've activated them. Just send the correct packet.

Most people knew about this. People were even doing it on Battlenet a few years ago.

It had to link up to the exact matching object though. The act 5 waypoint was accessed via a specific coordinate in Stony Field.
