don't get me wrong, it is a disappointment compared to season 1, especially after how long we've had to wait
the animation is choppy and lazy, there seems to be half as many frames in each fight scene as there should be and there are too many poorly done still shots for all of the panning and furious camera shaking in the world to compensate for, not to mention they're cutting away from the money shots pretty frequently as well (like when saitama knocks down genos), and how they're drawing/colouring metallics looks like shit to me
there are some other non-animation issues i noticed too, like that saitamas voice actor seems a lot more boring and monotone than in season 1, but overall i don't think it's bad enough to stop it being carried by the story/humour, and the sideways jumps move is classic One so if you couldn't appreciate that maybe just stop watching now
I can live with the animation, that's expected, but the story line is written by 5 year olds, and that's what makes it terrible, right off the bat they kill a good character that could have been very good, and they made weaker characters stronger and dumb, the worst thing was the sideways jumps, so bad and a 12 year old could have done better. reminds me of fallout 76, almost as bad as D3, but nothing is that bad.
