Well madhouse wanted more time to produce the season and they didnt get the approval for the extra time to produce it. They handed it.to another studio to produce a season 2 as fast as possible to keep the popularity of the anime.

My biggest complains with this season so far is the sound effects , the music and the lack of bonus episodes (i loved to death those bonus eps in season 1) but so far i still enjoy this season and i understand that jc staff didnt have the time needed to flesh out the season the way they wanted it to be

I also loved the bonus episodes, but they weren't integral to my overall enjoyment of the series. I've noticed a slight downgrade in sound effects, but I've enjoyed the music throughout this season. It's not as good as the first season, but the first season was damn near perfect in every aspect imaginable.
