is in the end of last episode suiryu legitemately wanted to keep fighting saitama just for that alpha masculine aspect of fighting to see whos the strongest.
and then the beginning of this episode suiryu is just like "i hope i never see that guy again" and wants to go live his lavish life of relaxation.

unfortunately i think the sound effects are here to stay, i had a look at one of their other animes and they were doing the same shit there

and nah, only the garou vs tank top fight was actually well done imo, some of this episode was alright like suiryus fight with the red guy, same with a lot of garou vs metalbat, but even then it's still a big drop in quality from season 1

reminder this is what we were working with then (not gonna include boros cuz that just wouldn't be fair)







a lot of this season has really been unjustifiably lazy, even in some of the major fights (garous gay little hadouken comes to mind lol), and there is a lot of awkwardness and choppiness that u just don't see in in s1

i tell u what tho, one thing jcstaff got really right was garou's theme, i enjoy that every time it comes on

Not only is the quality terrible, they build up a new character just to goblin slayer him in the first fight. Tbh it's getting worse every new episode.
