the two chaos mods alone will nearly double the damage of doryani's. Gained as chaos is a more multiplier scaling up all of your passives, other gear, ascendancy, EVERYTHING. Not just that, it double dips with any conversion.

That 7% double dmg mod is effectively 7% more dmg that scales up everything as well.

132% increased is nothing to a real build, but lets assume it did, this weapon has 88% inc spell/ele dmg. So doryanis has only 44% increased.

So I ask you, as a non troll/good player at the game. Which would you rather have, 44% increased dmg or 43% MORE dmg.

also, 7% to deal double dmg is not very much.... thats like a 1 in 14 shot.

Not trying to insult you, but yeah you missed a lot. Do some research on how "added as extra x" works in poe.

7% of the time you will deal double damage, this averages out to 7% more damage over the course of any given fight. Can it proc the first two hits? sure, can it not proc at all before the boss dies? Maybe. But that's what the mod does, and on skills like storm brand and similar fast hitting skills it will deal 7% more.

to your other points, ele prolif only works on gems socketed in doryani's, it is useless. Leech is easy to obtain now so .5% isn't much at all. This weapon has cast speed.
