not well tested but if between welling items you whistle for trash mobs and keep killing them untill you stack 2+ kills will no item drops then go back to well and kill the Beast from the deep i feel it increases the odds of more drops.

if this is the case i feel everyone should have the same knowledge that i have just came across in my two days back


(last 3 wells with 2 trash kills no drop prior =5 welled drops)
(the one after those i managed to get 3 trash mob kills with no drops prior to well, well drops =8!)

Personally, I think you are the only person to even test out that possibility.

Since you posted this, I am going to gather that others will now start testing.

I would agree that there's a "downtime" after you've welled something

I will usually well a "good item" followed by 2 crap items, followed by "good items" until i get a 5+ multi drop, then i go and well 2x bad items again etc.
hadn't thought about normal mob fighting, potentially works also

I VERY VERY rarely get 2 large drops in a row.
