what irl benefits do you get from league other than learning that most teammates irl are trash and that you have to carry them

Research shows that people who sit in front of a screen for more then 2 hours a day for personal use have a much higher chance of mental illnesses.
Probably because they don't get as much social interaction a healthy person needs.

So technically it does cause depression more so then not playing.
People lie to themselves and say that playing games cures there depression when really is masks emotional problems.


I have fun playing league with friends.
You can consider it as team bonding etc, which can have a practical use.
Other then that or meeting new people, I cant think of much.

I think the study was specifically for people who did not have a current mental illness before becoming addicted to games / computer / phone Etc.
But your correlation is prob prevalent regardless.
