For those of you who downed Uber Elder in Betrayal, please let me know which build you guys followed. I followed two guides and fell short of killing Uber Elder. Maybe I'm just terrible at the mechanics but, I've tried over 30 fights but to no avail.

It’s definitely mechanics, especially if someone can do it with a level 36 char.

use kaoms roots and dream fragments ring it will help a little bit.

You can also use purity of ice lvl 21, use a loreweave for max res...


But honestly IF you didnt down him after 30 tries its either your build is very bad or you need more practice...and to pay more attention to mechanics.

I know its all about mechanics, but I suck at this game so I went with surviveability instead.

I used ths MS variant of this build (based on https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds). I did not get enchant and you don't need the boots to beat uber elder. All my jewels was 10+ intel / 35+ es, nothing really expensieve. And decent clearspeed too. Nothing like 400MS zoom zoom raider or w/e, but that's for "normal" people. Pay attention to strength beeing higher than dex for that extra ignite immunity.

This should also be quite safe and tanky. Means that you might survive the mechanics that you fail to avoid (like me).

Just go herald of agony, build a bunch of defense on passives with some minion damage and 7 link your herald of agony gem using elder bow.

winter orb and u run around in circles and that's really all you do the whole fight.

like 80% of the fight is just dodging shaper balls and beam
