Lvl30 preferably non ladder. Either fb sorc, hdin or plague/bow zon probably among the cheaper ones that wont cost an arm and a leg.

Out of the three I would say hdin is the cheapest
only expensive thing really is the amulet and shield if you got for this build below:

Helm: Peasant Crown Pskull
Weapon: Spirit 30-35fcr Sword (you need 65fcr with weapon and shield)
Armour: Viper Pskull
Shield: Spirit 30-35fcr Akaran Targe 45@
Gloves: Magefists
Belt: Strings of Ears 15dr
Boots: Sanders
Amulet: 2pc 10fcr add
Rings: 2 x Soj

not really worried about cost of items

Choose something your already comfortable playing if its your first PVP char,
it also depends weather your out to have fun or specifically want to win,
weather you want to be a good team player or weather your just out for the 1v1 wins.


I'd be inclined to start out with a sorc or hammer pala, purely because you can start out with cheaper easy to find items and still be effective from the get go
(I know you say price isn't an issue but your whole build can have to be put on hold while you wait for 1 item, and depending if your on ladder or nl you may be waiting a while)

My personal opinion would be to try a vita fb sorc first,
Hammerdin I would say is stronger but when your just starting out you may end up focusing more on your keys more than the duel itself swapping charge-hammer and vigor and conc all the time isn't quite as simple as swapping fb for tele

its not even so much the cost but how hard it is to get the items so make some of the builds. hdin and fber being the easiest

If cost is not an issue yeah id still go with fb, libby (instead of hdin) and bow (instead of plague hybrid).

As for availability of items, you can get a better char, cheaper, far more quickly, have more frequent duels and against better opponents if you like, or you can go for a Ladder char...
