There're a bunch of options, but I suggest to stay away from a few chars just so you keep your sanity.

As a beginner, I would avoid any kind of dudu, tele barb, zeal, v/t, blizz

Charger, fb sorc, hdonk, plaguer are all chars you can do good without breaking the piggy bank and give you a good feel of lld tvt.
