why wouldn't companies with near monopolies charge way more for their product or service? I mean you personally rant about how awful the oil company is in Australia, why wouldn't they double their prices if UBI came to Australia?

Because they would be kicked right out of the country, we already have a royal commission into fuel prices incoming, people are fed up.

And you think corruption decreases when you expand government? All you create is more people that have to be bribed in order to operate a business, thereby increasing deadweight loss and end-consumer costs.

I do not want to expand government, i want to shrink it to a point where the only thing it is doing is keeping law and order and protecting the environment.
I want a strong anti corruption watchdog that is independent from our government, i want stronger laws against corruption and i want to end big business and developer donations to politicians and political parties.
