Glitch

Almost every fish stack on that char shouldn't be able to exist with the way fish works now.
Is it a bug ( after the rewrite maybe ) or are these "unspawn" fish?
The only way that could happen is if fish had no minimum life/mana recovered at some point.

Am I missing something?
I don't really see anything their that would be a "unspawn" type of deal?

And yea they are old he don't play anymore

Cylon was the best at pretty much everything. These stacks may not be possible for us today, but if Cylon were to play again, I'll bet he can do it again

Cylon has 31 Ranks in Fishing and 21 Ranks in cooking. His fish stacks are high for his Fishing rank.
Check his character called Cylon and you will see his Skill Ranks above that characters items.

EDIT: the fish with Enhanced Effect is from his Rank 16 Suffusensing (spelling)

You are both missing something. The reason Jupiter wants to understand this thing is not that he wants to make giant stacks or anything like that... he just wants to know how Cylon managed to catch high level fish that bad... as it stands currently, he can't... sucks to not be able to be the worst at something doesn't it?





I learned of Cylon's greatness through Inkarnon's stories (of being pissed that he had to catch Cylon in every category). From that I guess that Cylon was basically the best at these profs in the beginning and by the time others caught up, I'd guess that Paul had already updated fish (I read about it in some very old patch notes somewhere...) to have a pretty high minimum life or mana value. So yeah, these are unspawnable terrible fish (not that anyone should care, since they didn't go over the current values, just under)...

Then I am missing something else from what you wrote here.

When you stack "Life" fish with "mana" fish the amount of Life and Mana decrease, it appears that Cylon has just stacked like 270 life fish with 270 mana fish resulting in a fish stack like this:

Magical salmon fish
Level Req: 15
Use Item to Receive Effect
Heals 35 Life
Recovers 6 Mana
Quantity: 540

I notice this when I stack comfrey this way. The following were like 300ish life and 300ish mana which turned into:

Magical comfrey
Use Item to Receive Effect
Heals 222 Life
Recovers 168 Mana
Quantity: 15

Ehhh mate..

When you stack 100x 300 life fish/comfreys with 100x 300 mana fish/comfreys, you can't expect to end up with 200 fish/comfreys with 300 life + 300 mana

I already took that into account, these fish stacks would still be impossible to make even if you do that.The minimum life/mana on a catfish is 175, so even if you have 250 mana + 250 life fish with the absolutely minimum, you can only get an absolute total minimum of 87 life + 87 mana each. And getting 500 minimum fish when they vary 175 - 700 would be very hard work.
