Pretty sure his last few (with the exception of Django) have received mixed reviews from fans/critics. His earlier works are some of the best movies ever made and although he didn't direct, True Romance is my favorite movie of all time.

Basically he is very consistently good. Consistently 7-8/10. But I see so many people worship everything he does as being like Gods gift to cinema.

When I say overrated I don't mean bad I mean just overrated.

Like my friend calls Django 10/10, his favourite movie ever. No way it's more than 7/10, no way it's worth watching more than once.

I fucking LOATHE when that happens on here lol, it happens to me all the fucking time. That's a fair point. I'd rate Django slightly higher, it wasn't OMG amazing, but DiCaprio's performance alone makes it 8-8.5/10 for me, he was phenomenal in it. Whether or not people praising the Earth he walks in can be a tad insufferable at times, it doesn't change that his movies are all consistently entertaining. Like I said, some of his earlier works are some of the best movies ever made, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and True Romance are all in my top 20, two in my top 10 and with this cast and subject, I'm confident this'll be something special.

If you said "let's have a cult classic movie night" I probably wouldn't name a single Tarantino film. Actually, the more I think about this the more the Coen brothers pop into my head. I should go watch The Big Lebowski again. Talk about cult classic.

The Coen Brothers are awesome, but they're the ones I'd say generally fall in the 6-7/10 area for me. They've got some terrific movies, The Big Lewbowski, Oh Brother Where Art Tho?, and Fargo to name a few, but a lot of their work has been just meh and I've outright hated some of their work (Ballad of Buster Suggs most recently), while I've never disliked a single Tarrantino flick. Jackie Brown is my least favorite, followed by Death Proof, but I didn't hate either of those.
