Hi guys! Yesterday i died against Geleb Flamefinger in Travincal with my Ele Dudu.

I had 650 health without the oak spirit and 1350 with the oak spirit.

Also i think i had around 40% fire resi.

As i was fighting i thought "hey.. im very tanky! no problem here i guess". - and then when Geleb Flamefinger died, he exploded because of his Fire Enchantment and i died instantly. from 95-100% health to 0.

So now i was wondering how much damage that explosion can do. and can i prepare for that with more fire resi? Is that explosion half physical and half fire dmg like the necro corpse explosion?

Oh i guess i should make clear that the difficulty was Nightmare. As implied in the Topic^^

And yes, seems like fire resi works. even tho it seems like sometimes its a death trap you can only avoid by reseting the game and hope for other effekts on the enemies

Had a lvl 90pala with wizzy/shako/zaka//eni about 1500 life no torch and no Anya quest done. Didn't bother to bo/holyshield cuz well... it was only nightmare. Died at travi as you did.

Holy crap.. ok then it seems like that exploding damage really skyrockets. sorry man - that sucks

I've seen full 5K Hp max res/max dr champs get 100-0 at Wave 5 Baal. Same thing fire explosion

The damage is insane. I’ve lost a few 70+ chars to it in nightmare.

i didnty read the thread but if they have other elements, it adds to the fire explosion right? making it much much more potent?
