Ok guys i don't own a SSD and wont buy one for this game,

When i start the game the game will crash 3 time before i can play...
I will get a fail to authenticate error.

When i load town it take forever more or less 1-2 minute.

I didn'T have this issue before .

I tried to delete minimap folder and clear shader , wont change anything.

Game seem less laggy in SSF.

Sometime when i log in it can take several seconds for my item to load their image.

Is it graphic related? i put all my setting to minimum and no improvement.

I used to be plying with no lag at all.

the only way to actually improve your load times is a SSD. even with every possible optimization poe still loads stupid slow on HDD because of how much is actually going on

spend the money and buy an ssd, you will not regret it.

You won't be able to improve loading screen but you can prevent crashes using
--noasync --waitforpreload

The game crashes because they added async loading which is meant for ssds. Async loading tries to force your HDD to load at ssd speeds which it can't and causes the game to crash. It will also cause lag spikes in maps because async loading means that not all assets are loaded when joining an instance but are loaded when they are needed. An HDD can't do that as well

This will cause your load screens to be long because it will load all assets before allowing you to instance. But it should stop your crashes.

E/ there is one more option that is based on how much ram you have. If you have like 32 GB you can install the whole game on ramdisk. I used this method when I didn't have an ssd. This will fix all of your problems but introduce new ones. If your computer crashes, your ramdisk can become corrupted and you would have to reinstall the game for instance.

Well launch options are pretty easy. Ramdisk isn't hard but requires the ram. Which if you don't have it's better to just get an ssd.

E/ oh. You could defragment your HDD as well. Since this is a new issue defragging may help.

you may first optimize your windows by disabling all useless services
note down you didn't specified the amount of RAM your computer had
