It's gonna be fine. Just pay the bill and forget about it. Start over. No more alcohol, ever. Clean living and self reflection pays off. Become your own psychologist. Keep writing stuff down like you did here, get everything down on paper, whenever you're uncertain about something, write it down and reflect over it.
It's just a car, it's just money, no lives have been lost, no bones broken. More money can be made. Shit happens. You can and will deal with this. Not meaning to stigmatize, but be grateful for what you have, you're not living in a gutter somewhere with no future. Just slap the dust off your shoulders and keep going straight forward, support your wife, clean living and back on track. It's easy if you believe it.
