It sounds like Jackson is doing well in TC and practice, and he looks better in games. I really don't think that rookie season at 21 years old will define him. You can see in college and in the pros he knows how to read defenses and go through progressions. He isn't just making one read and then running for it.
Not to mention they had to completely change the system up nearly half way through the season last year. Dude was/is young, raw, but ultra talented and got thrown into the fire when the plan was for him to sit for at least the season.
Just getting the experience and having the game slow down for him in year two should make for a nice improvement in the passing game this year and going forward.
