I loved his one season as the Ravens DC. He was very aggressive, not afraid to blitz.



Also Ravens fire Marty Mornhinweg; promote Greg Roman to OC.

Roman is probably not much better than Mornhinweg, but Marty was unquestionably terrible as a play-caller, and he prepared us very, very poorly for the Chargers game (basically adjusted nothing from the first meeting vs. Chargers, and he made no adjustments to his game plan until the 4th quarter when it was already too late).

I really hope they hire a backup plan to relieve Greg Roman if he sucks though. Actually what I would really want is Hue Jackson in some offensive assistant capacity. I think that, as long as he's not making personnel decisions, he's an asset coaching offense. Plus he has plenty of experience in the AFCN.
