My old keyboard the number 6 stopped working wife bought me a new one for christmas and still number six doesnt work tried to google it cant find a soultion , help is much appreciated

Use a Linux live disc.
If it still won't work it's a physical issue and you'll probably need to replace mobo.
if it does work then reinstall windows rather then trying to figure out which software is causing the issue.
