My barrows pure loves it cuz i can't use a whip amd ive been doing slayer a lot so its very useful either way.

I expect rapier to be good at hydra yes they said bonuses from dhcb will work on it it also works on fossil island wyverns but mele is still better to kill them with. I wouldn't be to suprised if hydra is close to this or if you gotta hybrid/tribrid the boss we really still don't know much about it. Now I do believe lance will be BIS for hydra but I have a strong feeling in general it'll be weak to stab. Just my thoughts.
