How is the defense overhyped exactly?

Completely agree we can't run or pass protect our oline is atrocious, our play calling is so much worse, and kirk can't read plays to save his life

But what about the defense?

If they had a QB who could consistently hit the wide open Thielen, Diggs, or Cook, it'd open the run game wide the fuck open. Their defense is plenty good, but when they're on the field 5x as long as the offense, they're going to get gassed, that's what happens. They still have all the pieces, but Cousins needs to get his fucking shit together.

e: Play calling has also been a fucking joke... Need to figure that shit out too before they waste all this talent. Not going to matter if you've got a QB who's putting the ball where it needs to go 5 seconds late every time though lol.

You have 4 games against the worst offenses in the NFL. Your defense is overhyped. X has regressed big time and your linebackers are no where what they were last year.

You have a good front 4 but not good enough to win against good teams

If you can't run the ball with weapons like diggs and thielan on the outside you ain't running the ball at all. Those guys commend so much attention that the box is not filled at all
