this is just the latest iteration of racism in england's top league, a problem that unfortunately keeps reappearing regularly:

https://www.goal.com/en/news/chelsea-suspend-four-fans-for-alleged-racist-abuse-towards/8n0jvow6yqnv1ifxjabafzfpm

to make it even worse, the abuse happened after that scene where david luiz lost his mind (again) and tried to kung-fu kick sterling, who was able to evade him, only to see luiz feign an injury to avoid being booked...

Well it's kind of good this happened, because finally the media is focusing on the campaign that's been going on against Sterling.

I knew this was coming just from the look that Sterling gave them.

Plus them being chelsea fans just made it obvious.

The blatant racism against sterling is obscene.

There are a few bad apples everywhere, but what's more interesting is Sterling posting on instagram the next day saying he gets unfair press because he's black, which I do agree with.

He actually didn't.

He posted how the media treats young black players.

He posted a picture of Adebarioyo buying a house for his mom and it was labeled something like 25,000 /week Manchester city youngster who hasn't even started a game has splashed the cash to buy his mom a house

And then he posted how they did it for Phil Foden and it was something like:

Mcfc starlet Phil Foden buys £2m house for his mum
