Computer is going to be used for gaming.
I have picked some parts, but kinda wanna get a "Second opinion".
Not sure if its worth getting a 2080, or a 2070 will do.
and is it worth getting an I7 for gaming?
Budget wise, I have up to ~3500 USD, for the build + monitor, doesnt necessarily need to use the whole budget tho
Also gonna buy a new 1440p, 144+hz, 1ms, g-sync monitor, been looking at this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-Abmiprz-2560x1440/dp/B01N11QIYWI live in Denmark, so there is only a handful webshops for computer parts, and parts seems a little bit pricier here
This is the build Im thinking about:
the RAM is "DDR4, 16 GB: 2 x 8 GB, DIMM 288-PIN, 4000 MHz / PC4-32000, CL19, 1.35 V,"
(and I will only be getting the 2070 OR the 2080, not both ofc ^^ )
Will probably get some other cpu fan, than the 212, not 100% sure yet.
Budget: 3500ish USD
More specific use (what games, what programs): gaming, new and old games on 1440p monitor
Planned time until purchase: ASAP
Do you need an Operating System?: Nah
Do you have any specific preferred components?: intel + nvidia preferably
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no, would be nice that the motherboard have an optical sound cable socket
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: no / minor overclocking, nothing major
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: need a new 1440p monitor (144+ hz, 1ms, and preferably g-sync)
any and all comments/criticism is appreciated about the monitor and parts
