Honestly just sucks they threw a half assed garbage ranked system in it.

New season -> wait 4-5 days so you can hit elder, then hit it in 1-2 days, and shelf the game till next season, shits whack, its piss easy to hit EG, then there is literally no way to see improvement, without competing in locals

Meanwhile tekken/sfv etc have an actual sound ranking system that you can see/feel the improvement, its just straight garbage 90% of players are funneled into the top 3 ranks because before that you literally don't lose more than you wini.

yeah i agree it's super fuckin whack, SFV/Tekken have MUCH better ranking systems, the way i track my improvement isnt' win loss ratio, it's based on if i'm getting better at the things im trying too, like anti air combos, punishing a certain thing, consistency in a matchup ect.

yeah, thats what i generally do, but its kinda dumb when you go against say match 1 vs tweedy, then match 2 vs a no-name and stomp him, it feels so off that this is in the same rank.

it's easier to practice in match when you get consistent skill levels each match.

join a facebook group with strong players or find your scene or whatever and just request to play them in lobbies privately, that's your best bet.

if you're super focused on getting good at this game, you're gonna have to go the extra mile
