If you don't already have it all setup on an iphone then why not spend the money on pure vbucks via PC/Console?

either way,
according to google you can do this but you won't see the vbucks on any other platform so everything you buy will have to be on mobile but it obviously gets put onto your epic account

i did a couple quick searches and didn't find a concrete answer.
i have some money on my iTunes account, and was wondering if i would be able to make this happen.
never downloaded the game on my phone because it is a complete waste of space, but i suppose i will have to actually do it to find out for myself.

yeah sadly this is probably your best bet. You go in game and try to purchase and it should ask for your itunes info or whatever at that point

added the iTunes gift card onto my Apple account, downloaded the game onto my phone, and made a 1,000 V-Buck purchase.
since the gift card was only $10, and that's all I had on my account, the tax ($0.85) was charged to my card on file.

but anyways, this works! hope this helps some people in the future.
