There will be plenty of options for upgrades, considering the projected lifespan of the socket. If/when I'm asked about upgrades, a proper Ryzen chip will be recommended after a dedicated GPU.

the 2400g 4 cores and 8 threads seems sufficient for light to moderate gaming, such as fortnite, both now and for the near/forseeable future. It will pair well with a discrete gpu that can be purchased later.
